Seafood Studded Falafel

A portable seafood dish that is packed with fresh flavors. Our Seafood Sensation is served on a soft pita with freshly cut tomatoes, onions, and green peppers. Then drizzled with Tzatziki Sauce on top.

4 Ounces Seafood Sensations® (Item# 004530)
1/4 Cup Canned Chickpeas
1/4 Each Medium Rough Chopped Onions
1.5 Teaspoons Finely Chopped Parsley
1.5 Teaspoons Finely Chopped Cilantro
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Dried Hot Red Peppers
1 Clove Chopped Garlic
1/4 Teaspoon Cumin
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Tablespoon All Purpose Flour
1 Each Pita
1/4 Ounce Shredded Lettuce
1/8 Each Small Diced Onions
1/4 Each Small Diced Tomatoes
1/8 Each Small Diced Green Peppers
2 Ounces Tahini
2 Ounces Tzatziki Sauce


  1. In a food processor, add the chickpeas, onions, parsley, cilantro and salt and blend, do not puree.
  2. Pulse in the rest of the ingredients for the seafood falafel.
  3. Make small balls and fry at 350°F.
  4. Build the pita by heating the pita slightly, spread the Tahini on the pita and top with shredded lettuce, falafel, chopped tomatoes, onions, green peppers and drizzle with the Tzatziki sauce.
