Seafood Studded Falafel
A portable seafood dish that is packed with fresh flavors. Our Seafood Sensation is served on a soft pita with freshly cut tomatoes, onions, and green peppers. Then drizzled with Tzatziki Sauce on top.

1/4 | Cup | Canned Chickpeas |
1/4 | Each | Medium Rough Chopped Onions |
1.5 | Teaspoons | Finely Chopped Parsley |
1.5 | Teaspoons | Finely Chopped Cilantro |
1/4 | Teaspoon | Salt |
1/4 | Teaspoon | Dried Hot Red Peppers |
1 | Clove | Chopped Garlic |
1/4 | Teaspoon | Cumin |
1/4 | Teaspoon | Baking Powder |
1 | Tablespoon | All Purpose Flour |
Sandwich: | ||
1 | Each | Pita |
1/4 | Ounce | Shredded Lettuce |
1/8 | Each | Small Diced Onions |
1/4 | Each | Small Diced Tomatoes |
1/8 | Each | Small Diced Green Peppers |
2 | Ounces | Tahini |
2 | Ounces | Tzatziki Sauce |
Directions
- In a food processor, add the chickpeas, onions, parsley, cilantro and salt and blend, do not puree.
- Pulse in the rest of the ingredients for the seafood falafel.
- Make small balls and fry at 350°F.
- Build the pita by heating the pita slightly, spread the Tahini on the pita and top with shredded lettuce, falafel, chopped tomatoes, onions, green peppers and drizzle with the Tzatziki sauce.
