Seafood Kimchi Rice Balls

These bite-sized snacks combine Seafood Sensations® with spicy kimchi, wrapped up in sushi rice and coated with savory furikake. They’re a flavorful fusion that’s sure to spice up any menu!

Ingredients

4 Ounces Seafood Sensations® (Item# 004530)
2 Cups Rice, Sushi, Prepared
1/2 Cup Kimchi, Finely Chopped
1 Teaspoon Toasted Sesame Oil
1 Tablespoon Kewpie
To Taste Salt
To Taste Pepper
1/4 Cup Furikake

Directions

  1. Rough Chop the Seafood Sensations® and add the Kewpie, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Sauté the kimchi in the sesame oil and add it to the warm sushi rice.
  3. Take 2 tablespoons of the rice and gently pat it down in your hand. Add 1 tablespoon of the Seafood Sensations® filling to the center of the rice and top it with a little more rice and form into a ball shape.
  4. Roll each of the balls in the Furikake and serve slightly warm.
