|basil leaves, cleaned
|extra virgin olive oil
|Parmesan cheese, shredded
|black pepper to taste
|salt to taste
- Combine garlic, basil and pine nuts in a food processor or blender and mix.
- Slowly add half of the Olive Oil to incorporate ingredients, then add the Parmesan cheese, remaining oil, salt and pepper and blend.
- Fold the pesto mixture into the mayonnaise and reserve.
