Lobster, Bacon, Cheddar Garlic & Chive Scones

Ingredients

6 Ounces Lobster Sensations® (Item# 004610)
3 Each Garlic, Chopped
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 3/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
2 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
6 Tablespoons Butter, Salted, Cold
2 Each Eggs
1/3 Cup Milk
4 Each Bacon, Thick Sliced, Cooked, Chopped
1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese, Sharp
1/4 Cup Chives, Chopped

Directions

  1. Sauté the Lobster Sensations® and garlic in 2 tablespoons of butter and let cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl add the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and butter.
  3. Cut in the cold butter.
  4. Lightly beat the eggs, mix in the milk and stir into the dry ingredients.
  5. Fold in the Lobster Sensations® with the garlic, shredded cheese, chives and the bacon.
  6. Do not overmix the dough. Transfer the dough onto a baking sheet, pat it down, and cut into desired wedges. Do not separate prior to baking.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
