1/2 | Each | Onion, Sweet, Julienne |
1 | Each | Apples, Granny Smith, Peeled, Seeded & Sliced |
1 | Tablespoon | Sugar |
1/2 | Cup | Apple Cider |
1 | Tablespoon | Apple Cider Vinegar |
2 | Slices | Bacon, Chopped |
1 | Teaspoon | Salt |
3 | Each | Allspice, Whole |
2 | Each | Cloves |
1 | Each | Bay Leaf |

Directions
- Sauté the onions in butter until translucent.
- Add the cabbage, apples, spices and cider. Cover and let braise for 1 hour. Stir occasionally and add a little water if it becomes dry.
- Add the apple cider vinegar to the braise, mix well and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the bacon until crispy.
- Fry the Deep Cut Coconut Shrimp according to package instructions and 165°F internal temperature.
- Lay the shrimp over the braised cabbage and sprinkle with crispy bacon.
