Crab Mac & Cheese Bites

3 Ounces Jumbo Crab Sensations® (Item# 004630)
1/4 Pound Ditalini Pasta
1/8 Cup Panko
1 1/2 Teaspoons Butter, Salted
2 1/2 Teaspoons All-Purpose Flour
Pinch Nutmeg
1/8 Teaspoon Pepper
1/8 Teaspoon Salt
2/3 Cup Whole Milk
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese, Sharp, Aged, Grated


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Boil the pasta till al dente, about 7 minutes, drain well.
  2. Spray 20 mini muffin cups with pan spray. Sprinkle the bottom of each muffin tin with a small amount of panko.
  3. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add nutmeg, salt and pepper. Whisk in the milk and cook till thick and creamy, about 5 minutes. Remove pan from heat and add cheese, the crab and pasta.
  4. Scoop the mixture into the muffin tin and bake till golden brown. Minimum internal temperature of 165°F. Remove from oven and let set up for approximately 10 minutes and serve hot.
